I'm Tim Jackson, a licensed therapist in East Nashville — about 10 minutes from The Gulch. I work with adults individually and within their relationships, with honesty and at a depth that actually moves things.
The Work
I use Emotionally Focused Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy — two approaches rooted in attachment science that go beneath the surface to understand what's actually driving the patterns. Not just what you're feeling, but why it keeps happening and what to do about it.
This isn't symptom management. It's real work, done carefully, at a pace that holds.

Private Pay Therapy
This is a private pay practice. All sessions are $175 for 50 minutes. No insurance is billed for new clients. No diagnosis is required to begin.
Private pay means no third party in the room deciding what your care looks like, how many sessions you can have, or what gets documented. The work stays between us.
If you have a PPO plan, a superbill is available upon request. Please note that Tim Jackson Counseling does not provide a formal diagnosis — which most insurance plans require for reimbursement. Contact your insurer directly to confirm what your plan requires before assuming reimbursement is available.
Getting Here
My office is located at 1530 Riverside Drive in East Nashville — about 10 minutes from The Gulch. The office is on the bottom floor of Riverside Station with its own exterior entrance off the parking lot. Parking is always free.
If coming in person doesn't fit your schedule, online sessions are available for adults across Tennessee and Virginia. Same approach, different room.
